One app for everything.
Super App came out of the need to unify multiple native mobile applications that Globant employees, especially those in management roles, had to have installed to manage different aspects of their day-to-day work: paying/approving expenses, booking a spot in the office, among other tasks. Instead of juggling seven or eight scattered, unrelated apps, the project consolidated all of those functions into a single platform, through comprehensive Product Design work that ranged from rethinking the entire UX to completely rebuilding the UI.

UX: Integrating without losing functionality.
Understanding how each application worked on its own, in order to integrate them into a single architecture.
The heaviest lift in this stage was reorganizing the information architecture: each mini app had its own logic and legacy functionality, designed completely independently from one another. I analyzed how each one behaved individually, then defined where and how to integrate them into a single structure, so that very different functionalities could coexist coherently within Super App.

UI: Extend, don't reinvent.
Designing Super App's UI by adding new components to StarMeUp's design system, the platform that would host it in the future.

Together with stakeholders, it was decided that Super App, while functioning as an individual product, needed to have the look and feel and design system of StarMeUp, an already existing platform, since it would eventually be integrated into that ecosystem. My job wasn't to build a system from scratch, but to add the new components Super App needed to StarMeUp's existing design system.

The final product.
Every mini app, now integrated into one coherent experience.
After a complete UX and UI process, ongoing conversations with stakeholders, and prototyping and user testing to arrive at a flow that coherently brought all the mini apps together into one, Super App took shape. Once the UX and UI were defined, I stayed in close conversation with the development team, guiding and supporting the process to make sure the implementation stayed true to the design.
